The windows have been removed from their original positions and placed in their new homes at the new chapel which is still under construction.
For reference, each window is roughly 3×2 feet and weighed approximately 100 lbs. In total there were 49 windows, totaling just under 5,000 lbs. After moving the windows 3 at a time on a dolly down a flight of stairs, up some more stairs, up a ramp and into a trailer, we transported them over to the new site. The process was highly labor intensive given our crew of 3, but the rewards were bountiful as on more than one occasion while we were removing the windows we were stopped by patients, ministers, and doctors from the hospital who told us what a great thing we were doing and how much it meant to them and the hospital community.
